1,000 take part in run to help poor individuals, abused children

TWO established charities – the Compassionate Care Foundation (CCF) and Protect & Save the Children (PSC) – collaborated for a second time in organising a charity run at Kepong Metropolitan Park in Kuala Lumpur.

The run brought together about 1,000 participants, including families, corporate sponsors and fitness enthusiasts.

Guests included CCF board director Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye and PSC patron Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz flagged off both the 7km competitive run and the 3.5km fun run.

Tengku Zafrul commended both organisations for their tireless efforts in helping vulnerable communities.

“Charitable leadership is about caring for the forgotten and lending a voice to the voiceless.

“Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) such as CCF and PSC represent the true spirit of Malaysia Madani, working selflessly to create a kinder, more compassionate society.”

He highlighted CCF’s achievements, including providing over 5,000 hours of complimentary molecular hydrogen therapy to hundreds of underprivileged individuals since 2017.

He also praised PSC for having assisted over 15,000 victims of child sexual abuse, and facilitating personal safety education in schools and communities.

Tengku Zafrul said, “The more help we give, the more compassion we are inculcating into our society and the younger generation.

“Economic progress is meaningless if our vulnerable communities and children are not cared for.

“I hope all of you will continue to support CCF and PSC in their noble missions.”

He also encouraged Malaysians to emulate the compassion demonstrated by these NGOs.

Additionally, he shared about his ministry’s efforts through “Skuad Kasih Miti” programmes that were aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable communities.

At the event, Lee emphasised the importance of providing healthcare to those in need.

“For many underprivileged individuals, access to proper healthcare is beyond their financial reach.

“Through hydrogen therapy and collaboration with Hi-Bliss, CCF has helped many individuals regain their health and they now live pain-free and active lives.

“The funds raised today will enable us to reach even more people in need,” Lee added.

Proceeds from the run will fund CCF’s hydrogen therapy programmes for underserved communities and PSC’s child protection initiatives.

On December 14, 2024, the serene Kepong Metropolitan Park came alive with the “Your Steps, Their Smiles” Charity Run, an inspiring event organised by Hi-Bliss Hydrogen Therapy and co-organised by Pensonic. Designed to make a tangible impact, the run supported two admirable foundations: the Compassionate Care Foundation (CCF), which aids underprivileged individuals in regaining their health, and Protect and Save the Children (PSC), dedicated to advocating for victims of child sexual abuse.

The event brought together a vibrant crowd of about 1,000 participants, from families and fitness enthusiasts to corporate sponsors, all united by a shared purpose of creating change. The fun run featured two engaging distances—7km and 3.5km—ensuring something for everyone and also, to cater various fitness levels and ages.

YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry, had the honour of flagging off the event, joined by distinguished guests Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Board of Director for Compassionate Care Foundation (CCF); Puan Suria Zainal, Board of Director for CCF and PSC; and Ms. Jayse Ong, Founder Member of CCF and Hi-Bliss.

Proceeds from the event will fund CCF’s hydrogen therapy programs for underserved communities and PSC’s child protection initiatives. Together, participants and organisers embodied the event's mission turning every step into a smile for those in need.

The funds raised today will allow us to extend this support to even more people in need.”

In urging continued support for these causes, YB Tengku Zafrul reminded attendees: "The more help we give, the more compassion we are sowing into our society and the younger generation. Economic progress is meaningless if our vulnerable communities and children are not cared for. I hope all of you will continue to support CCF and PSC in their noble missions.”

He also encouraged Malaysians to emulate the compassion demonstrated by these NGOs, sharing MITI’s efforts through the “Skuad Kasih MITI” Corporate Social Responsibility programmes, aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable communities.

Hi-Bliss Hydrogen Therapy, the main organiser of the event, presented a thoughtful token of appreciation in recognition of his support and attendance. The gesture included an adorable hamper from Wellwoud, one of the event sponsors, along with hydrogen therapy treatment sessions sponsored by the main organiser, reflecting their gratitude and commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations.

One of the key highlights of the event was the prize-giving ceremony for the top three winners in both the 3.5km and 7km categories. However, the moment everyone was eagerly anticipating was the lucky draw session. A total of 38 prizes were up for grabs, including 32 consolation prizes and top 5 prizes, generously sponsored by Hi-Bliss, Pensonic, and Wellwoud.

The ultimate showstopper was the Grand Prize—a Hi-Bliss Hydrogen Water Generator worth RM12,600. It was won by Tan Thiam Ong, who was overjoyed and beaming with excitement as they stepped forward to claim this remarkable prize. The award was presented by YAM Tunku Kamariah

In the spirit of Ramadan, our company had the distinct pleasure of hosting a Iftar dinner for our Muslim staff at the Sheraton Hotel, Petaling Jaya. This special evening was not just about breaking the day's fast; it was a heartfelt celebration of community, culture, and the shared values that unite us all during the holy month of Ramadan.

We invite you to scroll through the images below to experience a glimpse of our Iftar dinner. May these moments inspire us all to embrace the values of empathy, generosity, and respect for one another, not just during Ramadan but throughout the year.

On December 16, 2023, we had an amazing soft launch event at Domitys Bangsar, introducing our latest Hi-Bliss hydrogen water generator! The event was all about 'You are what you drink and eat: skin, kidney, and gut health." We had invited two awesome speakers, Prof. Dr. Yeong, a medical physicist in Malaysia, and Shirly Tiong, a nutrition and functional medicine pharmacist, who shared valuable insights.

Shirly emphasized the significance of hydrogen and how important its advantages are for body hydration and detoxification. She discussed how the food and drink we consume can build up toxins in our bodies. Furthermore, she shared insights into the specific foods and nutrients she typically includes in her diet to support the organs involved in detoxification. This session provided a wealth of informative content for our customers.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Yeong highlighted the incredible benefits of hydrogen, emphasizing its role in flushing out toxins and combating issues such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and even post-COVID symptoms. She explained how hydrogen enters our bodies scientifically. Due to its small molecule size, hydrogen can penetrate the blood-brain barrier and speed up the healing of damaged cells.

Aside from the informative talk, we also had a lucky draw session in which winners received treatment vouchers and Wellwoud essential oil sets. Hi Bliss is also offering a promotional price for our water generator and many gifts worth more than RM1000. This exclusive offer is valid only for all participating clients during the event. On the same day, attendees also benefited from a free health assessment and hydrogen trial.

This event successfully helped everyone understand how hydrogen contributes to our health, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our well-being journey. We're thrilled to share more and help everyone make healthier choices.

We hope to continue helping mothers learn more about motherhood, its challenges and how Hydrogen can help them overcome their challenges.

On the 9th of April, we participated in a Wellness Weekend at The Habitat, Penang Hill, to share the healing benefits of Hydrogen Therapy while 822m above Sea Level!

An educational workshop event was held on February 28th and March 20th at Serenity Confinement Centre, in collaboration with Hi-Bliss Hydrogen Therapy.
